Job Description

Structural Lead ? TopsidesJob SpecificationCoordinate activities in respect to Offshore Structures(i.e. Topsides, Jackets, Decks, Bridges, Brownfield Modifications) detaileddesign, technical and execution definition, procurement, installation andtesting/commissioning. Review projecttechnical requirements and ensure compliance with project requirements.Key Job Accountabilities:

  • Coordinate the activities of the EPC contractors, vendorsand subcontractors, as required, to ensure quality assurance and productiontiming of the Offshore Structures deliverables is in accordance with theapproved project execution schedule and budget.
  • Analyse technical attachments and scope description of allstructures related purchase orders to ensure compliance with scope descriptionin related contracts.
  • Ensure Offshore Structures engineering design is inaccordance with the projects change management program and consistent with theOffshore Structures engineering schedule and critical milestones (LLIprocurement, engineered equipment procurement; ROS dates, etc.); stewardrecovery plans to address any schedule delays and resolution of Contractor?sengineering claims, if any.
  • Supply previous lessons learned knowledge to enhance projectperformance and ensure that current project lessons learned are captured forfuture reference.
  • Assess the Contractors Structures related activities in respectto engineering execution by ensuring plans, procedures, objectives, and overalljob requirements adhere to all appropriate Offshore Structures specifications,standards, and design verification processes.
  • Cooperate with review teams and support post-auditactivities with respect to contract administration and subcontracting.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in engineering discipline.
  • 15 years? overall experience, 10 years? relevant experiencewith 5 years in a Lead Structural engineering level with overall responsibilityfor engineering execution of large topsides projects (>20,000t). Broad andextensive knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, appropriatesafety criteria, offshore facilities and structure design, construction,operations, and engineering administration.
