Job Description

JobSpecificationCoordinate activities in respect to Offshore Structures (i.e. Topsides,Jackets, Decks, Bridges, and Brownfield Structural Modifications) and OnshoreCivil/Structural (i.e. Structures related to onshore pipeline routing & tie-in,Collaborative Center and Logisitics base) design and equipment, technical andexecution definition, selection and design, including planning for detaileddesign, procurement, installation and testing/commissioning. Review project technical requirements (e.g.project specifications, data sheets, etc.) developed during FEED and ensurecompliance with project requirements.Key JobAccountabilities

  • Coordinate the activities of the Structures Team and FEED contractors,vendors and subcontractors, as required, to ensure quality assurance andproduction timing of the Offshore Structures deliverables is in accordance withthe approved project execution schedule and budget.
  • Analyse technical attachments and scope description to all Structures relatedpurchase orders to ensure compliance with scope description in relatedcontracts.
  • Manage Offshore/Onshore Structures engineering design in accordancewith the projects change management program and owns the Offshore Structuresengineering schedule and critical milestones (LLI procurement, engineeredequipment procurement; ROS dates, etc.); develops and stewards recovery plansto address any schedule delays and resolution of FEED Contractor?s engineeringclaims, if any.
  • Supply previous lessons learned knowledge to enhance projectperformance and ensure that current project lessons learned are captured forfuture reference.
  • Check the FEED Contractors Structures related activities in respectto engineering execution by ensuring plans, procedures, objectives, and overalljob requirements adhere to all appropriate Offshore Structures specifications,standards and design verification processes.
  • Cooperate with review teams and supports post-audit activities withrespect to contract administration and subcontracting.
MinimumRequirements
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering discipline.
  • 10 years? experience with 5 years at the senior project engineering /engineering supervision level with overall responsibility for engineeringexecution. Broad and extensive knowledge of design standards, specifications,codes, appropriate safety criteria, offshore facilities and structure design,construction, operations and engineering administration.
