Job Description

Job Title: Sr. QA/QC EngineerDuration: 1 Year Extendable, Single StatusMinimum requirements:

  • Bachelor?s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from internationally recognized organization.
  • IRCA Certified QMS Lead Auditor Certification, ASNT Level-II Certification in RT /MT/PT/UT
  • Certifications in welding and painting inspection activities from internationally recognized certification bodies like AWS / CWIP/TWI.
  • Professional certification / affiliation with internationally recognized Quality organizations like CQI or ASQ or similar is desirable.
Experience:
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas Industry with an international recognized EPIC contractor or end user/owner organizations, covering pipelines, process plants and refineries.
  • Hands on working experience in major EPIC projects with involvement in all phases of EPIC from working level to independently managing / Heading QA/QC function.
  • Working knowledge in the manufacturing inspection and certification processes for equipment/ materials in projects and the associated Quality Assurance and Quality Control practices.
  • Working from corporate offices with functional responsibility for simultaneous coordination / working / managing multiple projects is desirable.
  • Working knowledge of using and interpreting Shell DEPs, International Codes / Standards (ASME, ASTM, NACE, AWS, API, BS, ISO) related to the job and industry.
