Job Description

Job Title: Sr. Mechanical Engineer (Static)Type: Contractual, Single StatusDuration: 1 YearMinimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from an internationally recognized University.
  • A Chartered Engineer status or membership with another Professional Institution is preferred.
Experience:
  • A minimum of 15 years of post-graduate experience in Oil & Gas industry in the areas of Piping design; Static Equipment (storage tanks, pressure vessels and heat exchangers); Rotating Equipment (pumps, compressors, gas turbines, variable speed drive systems and lifting equipment) and Package Equipment with a reputed design consultant or EPIC contractor, of which a minimum of 8 years in the Lead/Senior Engineer or similar position.
  • The candidate shall possess sound knowledge in piping/mechanical detailed design, engineering and layout of onshore oil and gas downstream installations, and shall have adequate exposure to Pre-commissioning / Commissioning / Start-up /Testing /Operation/Troubleshooting.
  • Must possess excellent written and oral English language and reporting skills.
  • Experience in the execution of CO2 projects will be an added advantage.
