Job Description

Provide fix-it-right, diagnosis, technical and repairs support to all mechanical service workshops and Pre-delivery Inspection section at LVD. Conduct technical evaluations for warranty cases where needed.

  • Carry out troubleshooting and repairs for the cases that are needed high-tech diagnosing procedure both FIR and Non-FIR cases and with difficulty repairing.
  • Respond to all technical inquiries of workshops and provide technical assistance on the spot if required.
  • Conduct on site investigation and assessment, and write incident report for the cases like Fire hazards, air bag deployed and non-deployment, unintended acceleration of the vehicle.
  • Prepare problem root cause analysis and write field technical reports, service Kaizen report for TMC and internal technical reports to enhance the quality service.
  • Report and escalate to TMC which issues that cannot be fixed by following Toyota standard service information to resolve customers concerns.
  • Provide timely assistance to the main workshop supervisor, service advisor and foreman, Quality testers individually or in groups, in the form of guidance, actual written specifications, demonstrations, presentations of the mechanical aspects of the vehicles to provides technical support to customer vehicles for all technical related inquiries.
  • Prepare Top 5 market complaints to submit to TMC and Assists TMC Technical team delegates during the entire visits.
  • Provide technical support to workshop for FIR meetings in terms of technicality of the cases wherever necessary.
  • Need to visit branches base on the requirements to resolve the complicated issue time to time.
  • To train diagnosis technicians team who are on OJT in main workshop.
  • Provide Technical support to PDI for technical issues on new vehicles, coordinate with PDI and Main workshop if any repairs assistance required on the new vehicles prior to delivery.
