Roles & ResponsibilitiesLead and support workshop activities related to valve maintenance, fabrication, and pressure testing.Perform PRV/PSV overhauling, inspection, testing, and troubleshooting activities.Carry out hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing in accordance with company procedures and industry standards.Support fabrication activities including piping supports, structural repairs, welding, gas cutting, grinding, and drilling.Ensure workshop equipment, testing devices, tools, and machinery are maintained in safe working condition.Review technical drawings, P&IDs, and isometric drawings to support maintenance and fabrication activities.Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, HSE, QA/QC, and Technical teams to ensure safe and reliable plant operations.Support plant shutdowns, turnarounds, and emergency maintenance activities.Ensure compliance with workshop safety procedures, permit-to-work requirements, and quality standards.Utilize SAP PM for maintenance activities, work order execution, and job documentation.Provide technical guidance and support to workshop technicians and contractors.Maintain accurate records of valve maintenance, pressure testing, and workshop activities.Desired Candidate ProfileDiploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.Minimum 5 years of experience in Petrochemical, Refinery, Chemical, LNG, or Oil & Gas processing plants.Strong hands-on experience in Valve Shop operations, including PRV/PSV overhauling and testing.Experience in hydro testing, pneumatic testing, and pressure testing activities.Good knowledge of fabrication, welding, and workshop maintenance practices.Experience with TIG, MIG, SMAW, ARC welding, gas cutting, and fabrication tools.Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and Isometric Drawings.Familiarity with SAP PM or other computerized maintenance management systems.Experience supporting plant shutdowns and turnaround maintenance activities.Good understanding of safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and workshop operations.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Fluent in English with good communication skills
