SUMMARY:Responsible for fabricating structural steel as per drawing.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:?- Provide Quality guidance to the Production and erection teams on any technical issues- Review Contractor?s method statements, QC procedures, ITP and Quality Plan and assist with establishing acceptable working practices for construction activities.- Preparation, Reviewing of WPS, PQR, ITP.- Ensure traceability of all materials and equipment from purchasing and up to delivery on site.- Quality management experience in issuing Project procedures (Project Quality Plans, Project procedures, ITPs)- Review and approval of Material certificates & Project Materials.- Inspection of Welding, Fit ups, Painting, coating & Piping activities.- Witnessing Welder Qualification Tests, Procedure Qualification tests- Witnessing Non Destructive tests, Destructive Lab tests and Water Tests at sites- Knowledge of ISO 9000 standards & experienced in QA/QC matters,- Regular monitoring and reviewing of calibrated welding machines, measuring and test gauges; and maintaining Records.?SITE:- Routinely visits sites and workshops to ensure compliance to standard procedures.
