Job SummaryThe position is responsible to coordinate the demand and inventory levels forecasting function by applying statistical and judgmental modeling techniques to attain high accuracy of the forecast.Job Responsibilities 1Populate the forecast on a weekly/monthly basis based on historical and seasonal trends.Ensure all planned activities (e.g. new store opening) are included in the forecast, etc.Ensure revision/updating of forecast whenever required/necessary.Monitoring inventory levels ensuring 100% availability of all materials.Measure and review forecast accuracy trends and propose revisions for approval.Create purchase requisitions within SAP to maintain the agreed material stock level.Liaise with Procurement to manage any supply issues, and deal with any impact on material requirement plans.Analyses required taking into consideration delivery lead times, seasonal constraints, storage space, etc.Job Responsibilities 2Additional Responsibilities 3Job Knowledge & SkillsKnowledge of Warehouse and Distribution principles.MS Excel skill is a must.Knowledge of ERP & Supply chain systems.Knowledge of program planning and implementation.Knowledge of Quality systems/ HACCP/ISO/GMP.Knowledge of Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS)Knowledge of Capacity Planning and long-term planning.Job ExperienceMinimum 8 years of total experience5 years of (industry/departmental) experienceMinimum 3 years in the GCCCompetenciesAccountabilityCollaborationLeadershipMaterial Forecasting L2Material Requirement Planning L2Planning and Scheduling L2QualityResilienceSupply Chain Management L2Supply Chain Optimization L2EducationBachelors Degree in Business Administration or EngineeringCertificate in Supply Chain/Logistics related course
