Job Overview:The Senior Planner will represent as a Lead for Planning and project control functions for the bigger project and / or multiple small projects at a time. Execute Project Engineering and Fabrication Control functions as per Project obligation. To set up the project planning including Primavera as a primary tool for Planning, Scheduling, Resource Management and Earned value. Familiarity on Integrated Management systems (IMS) procedures as applicable. Manage with Project Team to perform project control function efficiently.Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:? General:? Co-ordinate with PM/PEM/Leads/Document Control Team to finalize the document review & distribution metrics? Attend KOM, Weekly progress meeting, Management Review Meeting and client Meeting? Review contract documents to understand the Project control Scope? Support Project team members to develop Project Execution plan? Project Presentations as part of Project Control Team (as and When required)? Co-ordinate respective project control team at Regional MDR locations if needed.? Support auditors during Internal and external audit? Execute schedule Risk Analysis on project specific intervals.? Implement the Lesson Learnt as applicable for Project control function? Planning & Scheduling:? Finalize WBS before developing scope Schedule? Finalize Engineering Deliverables & Fabrication Activities list before developing schedule? Prepare and finalization of the Schedules from Level 0 to Level 3 in Primavera (Logic coupled & Resourced)? Develop and maintain the Engineering level III schedule in Primavera with Proper WBS Codes and activities for schedule detailing, Resource management, progress tracking and forecasting of engineering activities which includes 3D modeling, vendor engineering and Procurement milestone based on agreed gates and step weightage for progress & Earned value.? Prepare and finalization of Level 4 using approved Baseline Level 3 Schedule.? Maintain overall project schedule.? Reporting of schedule concerns / delay analysis.? Participate PROM sessions and run Schedule Risk based on the outcomes.? Resource:? Resource profile using Primavera for Resource Requirements, usage & Forecast and ensure that resource. Planning is adequate in line with Level III Schedule and Man-hour Budget.? Analyze to optimize resource against budget & during scope changes? Manpower ? Engineering Manpower Forecast review.? Progress Review, Monitoring and Reporting:? Initiate, Set up and maintain progress measurement metrics to reflect and evaluate the physical progress.? Ensure that standard progress reports formats used for consistency.? Ensure that progress is measured, reviewed and Progress & Productivity reports along with ?S? curves and? Histogram are communicated to leads & PEM on weekly basis as per the project and MDR management Requirements.? Generate Weekly Report consist of Progress, Delay impact analysis, Shortfall / Slippages to forecast for catch-up plan, Man-hour concerns and Productivity analysis to address during weekly Progress review meeting.? Review / Prepare Weekly reports containso Engineering Overall , Discipline Wise Summary - Plan, Progress, Variance & Forecasto Procurement Overall Plan, Progress, Variance & Forecasto Engineering Overall & Discipline Wise - Look Ahead, Short fallo Critical Path Analysis Report & Delay Impact analysis, mitigation plans.o Productivity Report with Analysis charto Overall and discipline wise ?S? curve for Deliverables, 3D modeling, Procurement & Vendor Engineeringo Milestone update and forecast.o Status of MTO? Scope Changes:? Analyze scope changes for Schedule forecast and Monitor the deliverable impact.? Review and Track DTCMS variances which are managed by the PEM.?
