Lead, drive and develop clientsWarehousing & Distribution activities locally in Qatar or globally to deliver accelerated profitable growth
Drive the implementation of the global Warehousing & Distribution strategy, competence building and product expansion in close coordination with local client organisations and agents
Develop and performance manage an efficient, cost competitive and operationally strong Warehousing & Distribution product in Qatar
Provide leadership, direction, supervision and continuous development of the clients Warehousing & Distribution organisation in Qatar
Ensure that all operation and conduct withinWarehousing & Distribution in Qatar and provided to internal/ external clients is reliable, agile and customer focused and in line withpolicies, procedures and business goals
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor?s Degree, Masters degree is an advantage
Solid experience in a similar role in Logistics/Warehousing & Distribution
Good experience in running multi-site warehousing operations
Supply Chain, Procurement, Customer Service and Operations experience is preferred
Experience in managing large number of workforce in multiple sites
Middle East/GCC experience, international experience is preferred
Experience in using modern WMS systems
Overall knowledge of the transport industry, maritime and logistics
Good understanding of international transportation, logistics, supply chain dynamics and best practices
Good knowledge of commercial aspects of transport and logistics
