Job Description

Our client are a leading international Architecture and Design practice who are looking for a Senior Interior Designer in their Qatar office.Reporting directly into the Manager Director of Interiors you will be responsible for:

  • Developing interiors for corporate, hospitality and workplace from initial concept and preliminary design to final design and construction documentation level
  • Preparation of mood boards and material sample boards, FF&E schedules, development of construction details and coordination/integration of structural, mechanical and electrical services
  • Supervising the activities of interior designers and detailers to ensure the proper interpretation of project briefs and client requirements, development of designs and preparation of construction documentation
  • Preparation of sketch layouts and details for finalization by interior designers / detailers
  • Preparation of space allocation programs for new building designs
Core Competencies
  • Extensive knowledge of design detailing and construction methodology
  • Experience in corporate, workplace or hospitality design
  • Able to work creatively within a project team environment
Key Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years post qualification experience
  • Architectural or Interior Design qualification and background
  • AutoCAD and related technology experience
  • Currently residing in Qatar
