The Senior Highway Design Engineer assist in developing the scope of engineering work, schedules, and budgets for the assigned project elements and monitoring progress to maintain those schedules and budgets.????????? Develop conceptual, preliminary and final design plans and tender documents including detailed design of horizontal and vertical alignments, profiles, grading, signage design, typical cross sections and detours plans utilizing highway design software as applicable.????????? Complete a variety of assignments such as engineering B.O.Q and specifications.????????? Prepare standard engineering computations, material quality, estimates, and designs.????????? Preparing all reports related to the projects design stages.????????? Perform quality assurance procedures.????????? Prepare and issue specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.????????? Coordinate with other engineering disciplines as well as other departments.????????? Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
