Review the Electrical drawings, reports, and specifications submitted by the DESIGN CONSULTANTs at each design stage to ensure completeness, correctness, constructability and compliance with the scope of work and agreed requirements.
Review the DESIGN CONSULTANT submittals on time and forward comments to the Project Manager.
Ensure the DESIGN CONSULTANT incorporate the comments raised from previous stages.
Attend Technical meetings with the DESIGN CONSULTANT, other SUB-CONSULTANTS, and COMPANY Team.
Review CONTRACTOR/CONSULTANTS proposed design organizations and related CVs and report to Project Manager on his findings.
Coordinate with PROJECT Document Controller to ensure that all Documents related to his discipline are properly controlled.
Review the alternatives to the Design concept submitted by the DESIGN CONSULTANT, and prepare and submit a report including the recommendation to the Project Manager highlighting the advantages and disadvantages of each alternative.
Review the materials proposed by the DESIGN CONSULTANT/CONTRACTOR(S) and propose an alternative to improve the quality and ensure maintenance, safety and cost-effectiveness.
Review Tender Documents to ensure completeness before issuing them to Bidders.
Participate in the pre-qualification of the construction Contractors.
Review and reply to Bidders clarifications, participate in issuing Bulletins and attend Technical Meetings with Bidders during the Tender stage.
