Job descriptionJOB TITLE:?Senior Audit Associate - In Country Value(ICV) CertificationREPORTS TO:?ICV Supervisor / ICV Review ManagerLOCATION:?Doha, QatarPOSITION SUMMARY:?The Associate is responsible for performing ICV Certification engagement and conducting and documenting routine audit examinations in relation to ICV and other consulting engagements for the clients of Morison. The role is a direct report to the ICV Supervisor and is responsible for execution of detailed audit procedure in a highly professional manner and in accordance with the international standards governing the practices of auditing.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops a thorough understanding of ICV / Tawteen procedures and adheres to all applicable requirements as stated by Tawteen for conducting the audit procedures.
  • Coordinates with the Supervisor on all phases of the engagement, including execution of the engagement letter, communications with the client, job planning, and scheduling and issuance of ICV Certificate.
  • Perform preliminary analytical review and highlight risk areas for audit reports.
  • Participate in client audit, review, and compilation engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and preparation of the required documents.
  • Acquire working knowledge of clients? businesses while expanding your experience with a diverse client base.
  • Serves the needs of the client by planning and performing audits, reviews, and compilations, in addition to any other related client needs.
  • Document audit activities, identified issues, and conclusions to assist audit team with reporting to the stakeholders.
  • Review with ICV Supervisor and provide resolutions to points/comments provided on the audit.
  • Assistance in the preparation of required deliverables: ICV Scorecard Certificate, FFR summary and AUP reports.
  • Concurrence with Tawteen on external audit and subsequent clearance of required procedures.
*Other duties as assigned.POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Educational Requirements: Bachelor?s in Accounting / Finance or any relevant field
  • Professional Certifications: CA/ ACCA/ CPA / CIA or working towards
  • Work Experience: 2-4 years (of audit experience)
  • Software skills: Caseware Africa (Preferred), Microsoft Office 365 tools- Word, Excel, Powerpoint (Proficient)
  • Ability to travel based on client and business needs.
