POSITION: Security Operations ManagerSALARY: 30,000 AED all-inclusive, depending on experience and qualificationsHIRING COMPANY: International IT Security CompanyWORK LOCATION: Doha, QatarAVAILABILITY: Can join immediately will be prioritizedEMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent?CANDIDATE PROFILE:Open to any nationality, Indian/Arabic is preferredMale/Female, 50 years old and below?EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Bachelor?s/Master?s Degree in Computer Engineering/Information Technology/Security Administration/any related studiesMore than 10 years of relevant experiencePreviously/currently worked in a managerial role for a security/cybersecurity company/department/functionExcellent knowledge of Logrythm platformDeep Technical knowhow SOC and various SIEMsKnowledge Base management and updatingExperienced in managed IT and Security services designKnowledge of actual state of the art technical products and solutionsStrong financial knowledge??JOB DESCRIPTION:Manage security operations for a Tier 1 customerManage a team ? Onsite and OffshorePrepare and implement SOPs, provide L1/L2/L3 support ?and meet KPIs / SLAsContact with the customer as focal point for all high priority & major incidents reportedProvide first line supervision to direct reportsDevelop and administer SOC processes and review their application to ensure that SOC?s controls, policies, and procedures are operating effectivelyProvide management oversight for the identification, triage and response of events or incidents of apparent security breachesProduce and review aggregated performance metricsManage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the SOC, through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functionsPlay a significant role in long-term SOC strategy and planning, including initiatives geared toward operational excellencePlan, coordinate, and control the restoration of simple, complex or high impact of system problems that occur within the production environment of clients systemsHandle conflict situations and make critical decisions while driving incidentsDevelop strong working relationships with support teams and managementProvide oversight of the 8x5 SOC and Security Tools Engineering teams to support security monitoring, protection, and delivery of security services for the clientsResponsible for overall situational awareness, security posture, and overall dedicated onsite position with the clientManagement of resources to include personnel, budget, shift scheduling, and technology strategy to meet SLA?sTrack SLA complianceEscalation management and organizational focal point for critical incidentsManage and ensure timely response and investigations of security eventsDevelop, and implement, and oversee SOC standard operating procedures to guide daily activitiesCreation of dashboards, reports, and metrics for executive managementMeasurement, tracking, and reporting of security incidentsEscalation Management and organizational focal point for critical incidentsManage and ensure timely response and investigations of security eventsOverall delivery managementLead of meetings with technical, commercial, customer and executive level
