Job Purpose :Establish secure and resilient IT infrastructure services through orchestrating the successful design and? implementation of an IT Security measures & standards with risk commensurate controls.This role will help define the security architecture and deploy best security practices for Client Company ?DMZ Network and share service.In addition, This role will act as a backup for the Senior Systems Engineer.?Key Accountabilities :Continuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance performance and quality of work with a view of stakeholders? expectations.Monitor current and future security findings and incorporating technical security mitigations or remediationsEnsure proactive service problem management, maintenance and health checksHealth, Safety & EnvironmentFollow all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance,delivery of high quality products/services and a responsible environmental attitude.?Framework , Boundaries and Decision Making AuthorityThe Security Engineer (Systems) ?reports to the Assistant IT Director (Infrastructure and Security) - IT Security and confers with the latter on critical and strategic issues.Key decisions having significant impact on the services are referred to the Supervisor - Assistant IT Director (Infrastructure and Security) for approval before implementation.The jobholder exercises financial authority as per the level established by the Barzan Holdings managementThe Security Engineer demonstrates compliance with world class service management practices such as: change management, service management and problem management?
