Purpose:The main purpose of the Merchandiser is to control his/her point-of-purchase in terms of shelf management and customer?s assistance.Duties and Responsibilities:? Responsible for display of merchandise? Maintaining the proper standard of concept ? Determines call schedule by reviewing priorities with supervisor; discussing special instructions, product promotions, new products, and price changes. ? Maintains store shelves by observing displays of company?s products; removing damaged or freshness-dated products; tidying store shelves; providing optimum display of products ? Completes call report by observing display and pricing of competitors products? Maintains quality results by following and enforcing sales. ? Perform other related duties as per the business needs.
