Sales Manager MICE generates interest, creates opportunities, provides information, factors customer feedback, makes appointments and produces leads by telephone, email, in person meetings and through marketing campaigns; provides the opportunity for both customer and business to find out more about each other. After all, converts those opportunities into business.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Effective communication skills Being courteous, professional and persistent Strong negotiation and consultative sales skills Good time-management skills Hands on experience with sales tools such as CRM software Good problem-solving skills Working with business & private events, weddings MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Builds business by identifying and selling prospects; maintaining relationships with clients; Identifies business opportunities in MICE segment by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options; Maintain an up to date account and contact database and special client needs in order to understand better the requirements of the clients; Pro-actively seeks knowledge of industry developments and use it to enhance the skill set; Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services; Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences; Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.
