Job Description

?A leading integrated logistics provider in Qatar is for experienced SALES EXECUTIVES.???PURPOSE:To promote those products & services such as Courier Express, Freight Forwarding (Air, Sea& Land), Local Transport, Customs Clearance, Warehousing, Cargo handling Packing, to achieve revenue/volume targets of assigned products/services by implementing the sales strategies as appropriate, and to maintain market/customer related information in support of planning and budgeting process.JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Identify potential customers, establish contacts, formulate & implement suitable ground level sales strategies to sell Logistics services/products at the required profit margin.
  • Maintain good relationship with existing customers in order to secure repeat orders.
  • Achieve periodic sales targets, provide sales forecasts, and proactively take initiatives to improve sales performance.
  • Duly complete all customer related formalities required by the company (such as quotations, order confirmations, contracts, and credit agreements) in a timely manner, leaving no room for financial disputes.
  • Contribute to the decision-making process by maintaining a comprehensive and up-to-date customer information system which will include details such as number of enquiries, won businesses,lost businesses, reasons for losing?etc.
  • Gather market intelligence covering new trends, booming industries, competitor rates & activities to effectively approach the market.
  • Actively involve and assist in the debt collecting process whenever there are disputes from the customers? side, unjustifiably long outstanding amounts, and wherever the Debt Collecting Team requires assistance.
  • Remain compliant to company policies & procedures, discharge all routine tasks with due care, respect the needs of other departments and uphold company values at all times.
  • Take good care of and be accountable for all assets provided by the company for efficient execution of job duties.
  • Perform any other related tasks which may be deemed necessary by the department head.
