Job Description
Inspecting work place hazards/making rounds and eliminating hazards by reporting through email and reviewing daily safety reports.
Providing safety induction for newly hired workers, and keeping records.
Coordinating with KSI NURSE for every health issues of workers.
Reviewing and replacing damaged PPEs after checking the previous issued time period.
Assisting clients and visitors for factory visit safely according to the management.
Providing PPES for factory visitors.
Conducting monthly safety meetings/Tool Box talks for the awareness of workers.
Maintaining accident and incident report after investigation, preparing safety monthly statistical report.
Assisting in accident emergency/major first aid cases, for transferring the victim to the nearest health center by company vehicle in case of the unavailability of driver.
Providing FIRST AID for workers or referring to KSI nurse.
Reviewing inspection report of assistant safety officers of chain slings, hooks, wire ropes of overhead crane visually for any defects, and then reporting to maintenance for further check-ups and replacement.
Reporting negligence and indiscipline activities done by workers/ horse play to HR department.
Maintaining and posting safety signage?s in KSI premises.
Reviewing records of PPE issuance.
Conducting inspection for housekeeping (staff canteen, worker canteen and worker bathroom) factory, factory surroundings.
Eliminating fire hazard, reviewing FIRE EXTINGUISHER inspection report from assistant safety officers and cross checking physically, preparing request for refilling the depressurized fire extinguishers.
Coordinating with maintenance department for eliminating machine hazards like improper electric connections, installing cable trays, oil leakages on floor for avoiding slip hazard and other safety issues etc.
Coordinating with cut/ bend, wire/mesh supervisors and logistic department for avoiding worker misconduct and health related issues and other safety issues.
Coordinating with store keeper for removing excess scarps and tie wires at scarp area.
To assume other duties as assigned by the higher management.
