Duties & ResponsibilitiesAbout the Position:We are seekinga dynamic faculty member for an open-rank position in Entrepreneurship, focusedon research and teaching in innovation, entrepreneurship, and small businessdevelopment. The ideal candidate should be an ambitious researcher withsignificant industry and practical experience, capable of leading impactfulresearch and enhancing our academic communitys research outcomes.Responsibilities include publishing in top-tier journals, supporting universitystartups, and engaging with key stakeholders such as businesses, incubators,and government entities. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone witha strong connection to the entrepreneurial ecosystem and a passion for bridgingacademic research with practical application.Main Duties:

• Publishing in highly ranked international academic journals andbusiness outlets.
• Designing and conducting research projects and communicatingfindings to key stakeholders across the business.
• Developing and delivering research projects in cooperation with CBEfaculty and other colleges inside Qatar University.
• Conducting research projects with industry partners as well as scholarsfrom internationally recognized universities.
• Applying and securing grants from different regional andinternational funding bodies.
• Making an impactful, high quality contribution to practices throughinternal and external research initiatives.
• Developing, designing, and delivering teaching, hands-on andstudent-centered learning in innovation and entrepreneurship for undergraduateand postgraduate levels.
• Supervising MBA and PhD students.
• Providing entrepreneurial support by delivering relevant training,coaching and mentoring services for innovations and entrepreneurial activitieson campus when needed.
• Contributing to various activities and administrative assignments inthe center and the college.
• Serving the community inside and outside Qatar University.
• Providing other special expertise, consultancy, and training to thecommunity at large.

Experience:

• Distinguished record of published research of international quality.
• A proven record of professional and academic experiences ininnovation, entrepreneurship or relevant fields.
• Experience in launching startups or providing services for them.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching and learning in the requiredfield.
• Capability to develop research proposals and external funding bids,design and lead research projects, and build effective research teams, whileensuring their effective management and delivery of expected outcomes.
• Experience of building networks nationally and internationally,both within and across disciplines, to drive research excellence and impact.
• Proventrack record of innovative teaching and research within the field ofinnovation, entrepreneurship, and SMEs development.

However, if no course work was completed, a copy of certificate letter from the registrar of your highest credential granting institution regarding your highest academic degree).
