College/Department Profile-Qatar University Young Scientists Center (QUYSC) is dedicated to the transformation of the national youth into resilient, intentional, critical, and engaged people. The center opens to bridging programs served for smooth transition of high school students to the University through variant platforms, wherein they diverse in excelling towards learning and scientific research. It is a promising initiation from Qatar University aligning to the goals set under the pillar Human Development supporting the Qatar National Vison 2030 and promoting youth empowerment through research and innovation programs.The center is devoted to instilling the life skills in the children through scientific hands on activities and building their key competences apart from nurturing their skills in inquiry and problem solving.Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe research assistant is responsible to assist all high-school students to develop their science knowledge, by bringing them into contact with recent developments in education and research at QU, in order to increase their awareness and motivation for STEM.-Facilitate and supervise the carry out of STEM workshops Through Hands-on activities with school students from Different Levels-Work with the students, follow up on the progress in their projects, and provide any needed of support.-The development of innovative learning methodologies in STEM-Lead and participate in research and analysis, collaborating with a diverse group of researchers from QU-Other duties as deemed reasonable by the line manager.Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe research assistant is responsible to assist all high-school students to develop their science knowledge, by bringing them into contact with recent developments in education and research at QU, in order to increase their awareness and motivation for STEM.-Facilitate and supervise the carry out of STEM workshops Through Hands-on activities with school students from Different Levels-Work with the students, follow up on the progress in their projects, and provide any needed of support.-The development of innovative learning methodologies in STEM-Lead and participate in research and analysis, collaborating with a diverse group of researchers from QU-Other duties as deemed reasonable by the line manager.Required DocumentsAcademic:

1. Current Curriculum Vitae with Cover letter.
2. Teaching,research, and service philosophy.
3. Three referees contact information (physical and email addresses as well their telephones contact).
4. Copy of highest earned credential (transcript of highest degree if graduated from an institution where course work was completed.However, if no course work was completed,an copy of certificate letter from the registrar of your highest credential granting institution regarding your highest academic degree).
5. Any additional documentation that you feel is relevant to your application.

1. A three-year renewable contract.
2. Salary is commensurate with experience.
