Job Description

The Refrigeration Mechanic (Trucks) position in Doha, Qatar, is a critical role within the automotive repair and maintenance industry, focusing on the upkeep and repair of refrigeration systems in commercial trucks. This position requires a skilled technician who is adept at diagnosing and resolving issues related to refrigeration units, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical systems, particularly in refrigeration technology, and will be responsible for maintaining the efficiency of temperature-controlled transport vehicles.Responsibilities:

  1. Diagnose and troubleshoot refrigeration systems in trucks to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  2. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on refrigeration units, including compressors, condensers, and evaporators.
  3. Ensure all refrigeration systems comply with safety regulations and environmental standards.
  4. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used for each job.
  5. Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
  6. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
  7. Stay updated on the latest refrigeration technologies and industry best practices.
  8. Train and mentor junior mechanics on refrigeration system maintenance and repair techniques.
  9. Assist in inventory management of spare parts and tools necessary for refrigeration repairs.
  10. Participate in on-call rotations for emergency repairs as required.
