Role purpose:- Act as a lead SPOC for accounting and reporting of revenue and related direct costs- Maintain the monthly individual and consolidated financial statements- Maintain chart of accounts including cost center and material codes maintenance Key accountabilities:-Ensure the complete, accurate and timely accounting of all transactions relevant to Revenue and direct costs- Responsible for producing accurate monthly financial statements including the analysis of key income statement lines- Comply with tax laws, relevant accounting principles, ICFR and Group policies.- Execution of all general ledger standard controls and retention of audit evidence of the completed controls.- Maintain coding structures (General ledger, cost centre and profit centre) that meet reporting and analysis requirements.- Design and maintain cost allocation processes (i.e. by segment and channel) and prepare the relevant postings to ensure the fair representation of all Other Direct Costs (ODC) including bad debt provision.- Complete local balance sheet reconciliations (and review those prepared by the SSC) for deferred, unbilled and unearned revenues, post paid receivables and direct costs. Ensure supporting documentation is maintained and reconciling items are cleared in a timely manner.- Act as a primary lead for finalization and implementation of accounting and reporting processes for new products and services.
