The Quality Control Material Testing Inspector under general supervision, performs difficult and sometimes complex inspection tasks.?
Inspects various facets of work on the construction site and performs continuous surveillance of assigned construction activities to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and specifications.?
Documents nonconformance and may participate in determining appropriate resolution.?
Have full awareness of testing requirements.
Check material submissions and properly process approvals.
Visit factories to ensure proper manufacture and testing of materials produced.
Ensure materials delivered are as approved and are properly stored.
Assist in the development of testing procedures.
Keep up-to-date with new appropriate materials.
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
