Checks and reviews the plans and specifications for the proper construction and quality implementation at job site, perform pre-inspection to ensure that all installed materials are within the standard in conformance to applicable drawings and specs
Performs civil and structural inspections and tests, such as soil compaction, moisture content, aggregation, graduation, concrete slump, air entrainment, concrete compression, lines and grades surveys, bolt torques, and concrete coring.
Interprets design plans and specifications to verify the work installed and performed in accordance with the contract documents
Produces activity reports as necessary to ensure that all QC activities have been fulfilled.
Provides general inspection on all construction labor and subcontracted tasks to ensure professional workmanship.?
Participates in the development of quality control reports and procedures as requested by the Construction QA/QC Manager
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
