Job Description

Position SummaryThe position is responsible for conducting psychological assessments and performing required interventions to ensure student health and wellness.Job Responsibilities

  • Implements programs to evaluate, address, and monitor student?s mental health and personal and professional development.
  • Monitors and assesses existing mental health conditions of students, including but not limited to crisis intervention, relationship management, learning difficulties, mood disorders, professionalism, adjustment to campus, etc.
  • Conducts psychological assessments, maintains confidentiality, provides evaluation reports, and timely referrals.
  • Performs academic skills assessments and coordinates appropriate assistance for students with specific learning needs.
  • Assists with student programs and services and coordinates with WCMC-Q faculty, staff, and affiliate partners, including WCMC-New York, Cornell University ? Ithaca, Hamad Medical Corporation, Sidra and Qatar Foundation as required.
  • Supports in developing and implementing student health and wellness programs, collaborating with various internal teams to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Supports the development and maintenance of policies and procedures manual, ensuring compliance and consistency in area of operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
