Job descriptionCharterhouse are currently working with one of our legacy clients in Qatar, a diversified group, whom are in the process of recruiting a Project Manager for their Business Development division. This role will proactively focus on the sustainability, initiation and enhancement of any business development opportunity linking to the group?s portfolio.About youIn conjunction, the Project Manager will also manage any new targets within the framework of joint ventures, franchise undertaking and any potential M&A-type investment opportunity. The functional responsibility shall be strongly geared towards the research and analysis of market trends, industry dynamics and any economic assessments within the overall business cycle and/or investment feasibility.This Project Manager shall also oversee any competitor and gap analysis, to assess the opportunity for future branding ventures and potential distribution channels, that can complement and/or extend the existing business platform and coverage.About the roleThe client will look for professionally qualified investment and/or strategy candidate whom is able to demonstrate the core fundamentals of financial analysis coupled with an ability to complete business planning and any market mapping.The client is looking to recruit a candidate coming from a Consultancy background; whereby they have either been exposed to working within a client advisory role or within an operational support role within a corporate and ?in-house? environment. Applicants shall be well-exposed to the Qatar and/or GCC market and they will be well-versed in managing senior reporting lines and stakeholders from a decision support and recommendation standpoint.Successful candidates are also expected to possess excellent reporting and presentation skills; to develop and implement strong controls and models within Excel.
