During Project development phase: 1. Support the Business Development Manager to develop the best economical & technical solution adapted to the final customer requirements 2. Work in close relationship with internal stakeholders by gathering, validating and incorporating local information, procedures, requirements necessary for installation (land, utilities, funding...) to be fully integrated into the project definition, scope and execution 3. Ensure that the project definition & design basis comply with all such local specifications and industrial risk studies (e.g. PRIs, PRAs, HSE and process risk assessments) related to installation projects are performed and reviewed as required as per MP11 4. Ensure that required design reviews, verifications and validations are performed 5. Interface with E&C / CIE team to evaluate overall performance of the project (budget, planning, scope, final technical solution, ...) 6. Coordinate overall project strategy and risks evaluation and be force of proposition to mitigate risks.Ensure technical integrity of the proposal and consistency between the commercial & contractual offer and the different AL Stakeholders 8. Participate in negotiation and challenge all the stakeholders to ensure the best competitiveness 9. Ensure the compliance to AL rules, MP 11 and any relevant external rules and guidelines During Project execution phase: 1. Manage the Project Execution with Excellence with proper organization and resource management (e.g. people, budget) in such a way that projects are completed within the defined scope, quality, time and cost constraints 2. Ensure overall performances, as defined during the Handover (Technical Performances, Capex, budget, schedule, Scope, Risks,...) 3. Contract, manage and challenge external/internal suppliers, including AL E&C 4. Coordinate interactions between different stakeholders (inside a country and outside: AL E&C and other partners) to ensure the overall Quality and Integrity of the Plant from Handover by AL E&C up to the transfer to Operations 5. Insure Excellence in Construction & Pre commissioning 6. Manage Changes and support the Accountable Person for final customers negotiation 7. Manage the Change Management process (as applicable) and follow risks and mitigation plan 8. Monitor and evaluate the process effectiveness and conduct capitalization for each project in order to determine and implement improvement actions if necessary 9. Ensure project KPIs, data and information related to the project performance are collected, analysed and evaluated, and reviewed during management and Project Steering Committee reviews Support Operations: During a period when there is no project, the Lead Project Engineer will support operations.
