Position SummaryThe position will be responsible for supporting research efforts, undertaking preparatory work for events, and providing administrative assistance to the division.Job Responsibilities? Supports and coordinates activities related to ongoing and new population health and related research initiatives.? Creates synopsis and extracts information from a variety of scientific resources by conducting a review of scientific literature for research projects as required.? Supports the research efforts by collecting, compiling, organizing, analyzing data, and conducting preliminary synthesis for systematic reviews.? Prepares graphs/tabulations to portray results.? Review print and online resources to gather information, check facts, proofread, and edit research and other documents to ensure the accuracy of compiled/collected information.? Performs independent fieldwork for various research projects.? Assists in preparatory work for educational seminars, workshops, and presentations.? Liaises with staff and faculty, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), and other stakeholders as required for collaborative research projects and events.? Initiates requisitions, matches invoices, and payments follow-up, and closes purchase orders upon delivery of items in the procurement system.? Collates information and drafts initial communication for the newsletter, announcements, and social media posts.? Provides cross-coverage for other staff members within the team as needed.? Performs other related duties as assigned.
