Job SpecificationThe ProjectControls Specialist supports all aspects of project controls activitiesincluding reporting, schedule development, progress verification and changecontrol. Monitors the Contractor?sproject controls performance in the areas of scheduling, progress measurementand reporting providing advice where necessary to make certain the Company?sobjectives are achieved.Key JobAccountabilities

  • The ProjectControls Specialist supports all aspects of effective client team project controlsincluding schedule development, progress verification, project reporting andchange control. The position participatesin the monitoring of EPC Contractor?s project controls performance in the areasof execution planning, progress measurement and reporting.
  • Provides reporting,schedule development and progress measurement expertise within the ProjectTeam.
  • Supports Headof Project Controls with ongoing project reporting, schedule control, changemanagement and other ad hoc business team deliverables.
  • Develops,coordinate and compile input from project team members, to maintain a set ofstandard reporting tools, templates, procedures, guidelines, and flow charts tosuit EPC2 project team requirements and needs (dashboards, monthly, weekly,risk, action tracking and KPI reports).
  • Standardisesflow of information/data from EPC Contractor and provide reporting to theproject team that utilises current information to enhance communication andsupport effective project execution
  • Develop, coordinate,and compile input from NFE Onshore team members to issue weekly and monthlyreports, shareholders and stakeholders? presentation
  • Participate inPMT evaluation of EPC Contractor change requests including assessment ofschedule and cost impacts
  • Assists PMT in developingschedule corrective actions and recovery plans
  • Coordinatecollection of EPC2 business team deliverables as required by NFE Onshore auditprogram
  • Assist indeveloping the EPC2 project close out report to ensure that detailedinformation on project performance is retained.
  • Monitors EPCContractor?s project controls performance in the areas of execution planning,progress measurement and reporting
  • Validate thecontent and accuracy of EPC Contractor reporting
  • Review EPCContractor submitted schedule baseline and forecasts.
  • Assessment ofEPC Contractor?s integrated schedule to identify any schedule risks oropportunities
  • Assurance ofEPC Contractor schedule logic and resource loading
  • Identify progressperformance trends likely to impact project schedule
  • Verification ofmeasured progress reported by the Contractor.
  • Promotes inter-departmentalcommunications and encourages teamwork.
  • Functions asbackfill for Project Lead Planner during planned absences
  • Participates ingathering and recording lessons learned for the project
MinimumRequirements
  • Bachelor ofScience in Engineering or relevant industry experience.
  • Minimum of ten(10) years broad experience in the area of project controls, including cost, schedule,and progress reporting.
  • Minimum five (5)years? experience associated with engineering, procurement, and constructionfor large (> $1BN) Onshore Facilities.
  • Minimum five(5) years? experience associated with engineering, procurement, andconstruction of large onshore LNG plants.
  • Excellentcomputer skills. Proficient in the useof MS Office 2010 (Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook) and performinganalysis of large data volumes
  • Advanced levelin the use of PRIMAVERA (P6) planning software
