As a Production Manager (Carpentry/ Joinery), you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing and production processes in or manufacturing facility. Your primary focus will be on managing the production team, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining high-quality standards. You will work closely with other departments, such as design, engineering, and logistics, to ensure smooth production flow and timely delivery of joinery products.?Key Responsibilities:Production Planning: Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and targets to meet customer orders and project deadlines. Coordinate with the design and engineering teams to ensure feasibility and optimal production methods.Team Management: Lead and supervise a team of joinery craftsmen, machine operators, and production staff. Assign tasks, provide guidance, and monitor performance to ensure adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and production timelines.Resource Allocation: Manage the efficient utilization of resources, including manpower, equipment, tools, and materials. Ensure the availability of necessary raw materials and coordinate with procurement to maintain optimal inventory levels.Quality Control: Establish and enforce quality control measures to ensure that joinery products meet or exceed customer specifications. Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain product quality.Process Improvement: Continuously identify areas for process improvement and efficiency enhancement in joinery production. Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices to optimize workflows, minimize waste, and reduce costs.Health and Safety: Promote and enforce a safe working environment by following safety guidelines, conducting regular safety inspections, and addressing any potential hazards or risks. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, design, and logistics, to ensure effective coordination and smooth project execution. Provide technical expertise and support during project planning and execution phases.Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate production records, including work orders, production reports, inventory records, and quality control documents. Prepare regular reports on production performance, efficiency, and key metrics for management review.
