Job Description

Job Purpose:Responsible for procurement of spare parts in a most strategic process covering different categories of purchasing, continuous sourcing to ensure more revenue with optimum stock levelJob Scope:Carry out inventory and ordering activities related to automotive spare parts business, supporting the Inventory Manager, enabling to achieve a common objective to supply the required goods by the sales team with right cost, right delivery time in a cyclic inventory method

  • Responsible for ordering of parts required at the retail sales counter, by the service Center and by the wholesale team
  • Ensure availability of goods as and when required
  • Analyze stock movement and work closely with the sales team and the inventory team
  • Monitor the market to get industry knowledge as an additional buyer?s input for ordering
  • Coordinate with buyers to provide update in all pricing and prepare inventory reports
  • Analyze parts cost and arrange negotiation as and when necessary
  • Coordinate with Inventory Manager and maintain successful ordering analysis on perodical basis
  • Establish cost saving programs and monitor results
  • Maintain professional relationship with vendors
  • Monitor stock movement and maintain cyclic inventory flow
  • Ensure smooth communication between the inventory section, the sales team and finance group
  • Request quotes and negotiate purchase terms
  • Ensure correct costing of parts purchased
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues
  • Maintain accurate procurement records
  • Responsible for Inventory KPI as per Inventory Management Standards
  • Monitor market trends and competitor strategies
  • Provide cost analysis for new suppliers and constantly review parts cost from existing vendor
  • Responsible to achieve GM Standards
  • Ensures performance of duties within the limit of Qatar Law and the company policies and procedures
