JOB PURPOSE:The Permaculture Specialist will be responsible for design, implementation, maintenance and sustainability ofthe pedagogical gardens on the Farm. The Specialist will work with the existing farm plan to optimize the farminfrastructure, including agricultural zones, date trees, greenhouses, ponds, shop, outdoor facilities, etc. TheSpecialist will also be expected to support external advisory projects. In addition, the Permaculture Specialistwill be responsible for creating permaculture curriculums, and delivering workshops, seminars and lectures toschools, universities, and other parties visiting the Farm.RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Provide daily oversight & management of the pedagogical gardens.2. Co-ordinate daily schedules and work planning for education team.3. Create and design curriculums on permaculture, gardening, harvesting, composting, and otherfundamental agricultural and farming concepts.4. Building relationships with schools and designing programs with students5. Creating partnerships and collaborations with both domestic and international organizations.6. Provide design concepts for external projects that arise from time to time.
