Our 378 stylish guestrooms and suites at Crowne Plaza and 307 well-appointed guestrooms at Holiday Inn are all equipped with modern amenities designed for comfort and high-speed wireless internet access to stay connected.- Create new pastry and dessert menus for all restaurant outlets and banquets, conduct tastings and presentations with photos and cost.- Establish culinary standards specific for Pastry/Bakery which meets the need of the target market.- Develop and maintain updated operations manuals for all pastry/bakery production and Stewarding sections and make recipes- maintain updated and accurate costing of all Pastry dishes prepared and sold in the Food and Beverage operations.- Supervise the Pastry kitchen staff in the preparation and presentation of all food items in accordance with the hotel?s food and beverage standards and standardized menu guidelines.- Oversee all matters related to food purchasing for pastry and bakery.Ideally, youll have some or all of the following qualifications and experience we are looking for:? Experience working as Pastry Chef for a 5-star property or cluster of properties? Knowledge of HACCP is a must? Good command of English? Ability to lead a team of mixed nationalities? Ability to create a culture of innovation and creativity, but with consistent delivery? Profit & Loss Savvy, especially in relation to payroll and food cost management
