Position Title: Senior Commercial AdvisorJobs in Brief: General Description?? Provide support to the Commercial Management Lead for all PMO activitiesrelative to contract administration and cost management including but notlimited to the advice on all matters of a potentially contentious nature relatedto the projects and undertake the evaluation of claims/Variations/ disputesettlement.?? Identify and evaluate key records and facts; evaluate all parties? contractualand legal entitlement; advise on claim resolution strategy, client defencestrategy, and programme analysis; and evaluation of quantum.?? Manage disputes, ensuring that robust contractual, factual and commercialinput is considered. Work closely with the PMO team and other departmentto ensure that Authority?s exposure is correctly diagnosed, accuratelyreported and where appropriate, effectively mitigated.Skills and Competencies?? Demonstrable track record in the delivery of large multidisciplinary projects.?? Management of key customer and stakeholder relationship.?? Leadership of complex contract negotiations (strategy and execution).?? In-depth knowledge of project commercial procedures.?? Ability to make impartial priority calls and determine appropriate course ofaction, dealing with many different stakeholder views.?? The ability to think creatively and exercise sound judgement based onanalysis of risk.?? Ability to work in multicultural environment and promote collaboration.?? Ability to apply sound judgement, to think laterally and innovatively, andidentify new solutions or ways of working to achieve same end goal.?? Demonstrable track record in the delivery of large multidisciplinary projects.?? A ?rounded profile?, comfortable with planning, analysis and managingprocess and commercial considerations; the successful candidate will also beable to mobilise people and teams and by their leadership skills lead teamsand secure successful deliverables.??
