SummaryRoles and Responsibilities:Role Summary:The On Wing Support Planner will work across a wide variety of customers, GE Aviation facilities and partners to plan all aspects of engine maintenance from job request through final billing. Applicants will be familiar with quick-turn aircraft engine maintenance, repair and field services, and EASA 145 guidelines.Essential ResponsibilitiesThe OWS Planner will lead job quotation, resource and tooling allocation, team launch, and job execution through to final invoicing.GE On Wing Support is a 24 / 7 / 365 operation and you must be willing and able to support calls during off-hours when emergency situations arise.In addition, the On Wing Support Planner will:Coordinate resources and tooling in order to effectively complete engine repairs in the shop or offsite locations throughout the worldCommunicate across multiple departments to effectively coordinate operations between manufacturing, project and product support teamsWork with Operational Leadership & Material Logistics coordinators to ensure deliveries meet customers expectationsCommunicate with internal team and customers to ensure seamless service and work scope executionSupport commercial team in quoting and managing of work scopes, parts logisticsCoordinate and provide support for the team in all Technical, Logistical, Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) and Quality requirementsEnsure daily planning sessions are held and objectives met by the teamAll-hands on deck Support for AOGs (Aircraft On Ground) as they ariseQualifications / Requirements:High School Diploma / GEDExperience with Engine maintenance, trouble shooting, and assemblyELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT(S):Ability and willingness to support calls during off-hours when emergency situations ariseAdd Eligibility Requirement:GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.Desired Skills / Experience:A&P License strongly preferredDemonstrated quality, compliance and customer satisfaction skillsStrong communication skills and problem-solving ability are a mustPossess a desire to learn and grow with advances in technologyExperience in repair of large commercial enginesKnowledge of lean and problem solvingAdditional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: Yes
