Job Description

Operations Supervisor isresponsible forthe daily operation of assigned sections of the park, including Lifeguard and Guest Relations Officer supervision.What will I be doingThis is a guest facing role which ensures smooth and efficient delivery of great experience for all guests who visit the water park. This position ensures guest safety by managing subordinate staff, responding to emergencies, ensuring efficient operation of rides and attractions, giving clear directions and instructions, attending and co-ordinating on-going training and maintaining essential swimming, lifeguarding, and basic life support skills. The position also ensures the Inspection and maintaining facility cleanliness and provide excellent customer service.

  • Assign and delegate tasks as required and follow-up.
  • Perform pre-operational inspections of rides, slides and attractions and communicate any items of note.
  • Conduct safety audits daily and record results as directed.
  • Coach and discipline team members in a fair and consistent manner in order to motivate and improve performance.
  • Deal with any internal or external customer requests and issues that are beyond the scope of their front-line team members.
  • Instil brand values and standards to maintain quality on a daily basis.
  • Liaise with other hotel departments.

  • Ability to work on your own or in teams.
  • Working knowledge, without assistance, of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel computer programs
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
  • Preferably International Lifeguard Training Program or similar program experience
  • Lifeguard Experienceor lifeguard instructor experience
  • Previous waterpark or theme park experience
  • Passion for customer service
