Are you ready to take your career in operations to the next level Do you have a passion for streamlining processes and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!As an Operations Officer at EAC, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely analysis of financial reports submitted by EAC partners to ensure adherence to grant agreements, approved budgets and internal processes and to facilitate project decision making process. Handle EAC daily operations, streamline processes, and contribute to the overall growth and success of EAC Operations team.Job Responsibilities

• Review and conduct financial analysis on reports submitted by external stakeholders/ partners.
• Verify the validity payment requests against the necessary supporting documentation prior to submission of requests to EAAs Finance Department.
• Ensure partner adherence to grant agreements and project budgets.
• Conduct project cost variance analysis taking into consideration estimated and actual project costs.
• Analyse, extract, define and interpret financial data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to project a financial probability.
• Prepare cash flow and budget forecast reports to facilitate project decision making process.
• Liaise and assist Engagement Team in the preparation of external communication to be used with regards to EACs projects.
• Liaise and assist other EAAs Programs on legal, financial and operational aspects as and when required by EACs Senior Management.
• Ensure high standards of confidentiality to safeguard commercially sensitive information.
• Streamline and optimize daily operational processes.
• Develop and implement workflows to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure smooth and coordinated operations.
• Monitor budgets and expenses.
• Ensure adherence to EAC/EAA internal policies and regulations.
• Prepare necessary reports and documentation.
• Assist to identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Proactively address issues to minimize disruptions.
• Liaise with stakeholders, both internal and external while maintaining clear and effective communication channels.
• Implement quality control measures to uphold high standards.
• Support the team to conduct regular quality assessments and audits.
• Assist in planning and executing projects and initiatives.
• Carry out all other duties within the area of Operations as and when requested.

In order to be successful in this role you will bring;

• A bachelors degree in finance, business, operations management or other relevant field.
• 2-5 years of relevant full-time work experience.

• Excellent communication skills in English
• Excellent MS Office skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
