Operations Manager The candidate for the position is required to execute High-profile events while ensuring that all logistics requirements are carried out according to the event plans. A qualified professional capable to ensure that all operational requirements are fulfilled. The candidate is expected to be an excellent communicator with a knack for organizing resources and execute action plans.Responsibilities1.Develop final event logistics to support project plans.2.Develop final registration processes and protocols for events.3.Ensure events follow local security, Workplace Safety and Health regulations.4.Lead negotiation with vendors to secure service contracts within event budget.5.Manage execution of event logistics to support project plans.6.Review vendors project deliverables to ensure high quality standards.7.Manage participants registrations to ensure timely and accurate collaborations.8.Manage security threats during events, manage takeover and handover of venues.9.Actively pursue strategic and operational objectives10.Review vendors based on quotations obtained for provision of goods and services.11.Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans to upper managementKnowledgeSuccessful candidates will have a relevant degree for the position such asBachelors in Marketing, Management, Communication, Event Management, Business/Administration or similar fields. Masters in Business, MBA, will be preferred.Candidates will be expected to have a sharp business mind and proven success in organization and execution of projects. Knowledge and experience in Human Resources, finance, analysis of data and IT management. Additionally, abilities to develop strategies, research, identify market trends, manage operating budgets and forecasting are required.Required experiencePrevious experience in a similar or identical role would be required. Experience in project execution and management operations with emphasis in High-profile events will be advantageous.
