Job Description

Main Purpose of the Job:The Site Nurse is responsible for running Project Site clinic/ FAU and supervising health & hygiene of workers at the Site. The successful candidate shall be the focal point at the Site for any health concerns. In addition, the position shall do inspection conduct related training and provide guidance and leadership to project representatives regarding all matters related to the welfare, for health & hygiene of personnel at site. Site Nurse shall hold valid QCHP license of Nurse position.Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible and accountable for clinic/ FAU facilities management, arranging periodic maintenance and overall supervision of the site clinic/ FAU, housekeeping and ensuring site clinic is complying to Qatar QCHP regulation.

• Responsible to provide first aid and treatment a nurse is allowed to give for site occupants.

• Comply to MOPH regulation and requirements for health and hygiene requirement for Site Clinic/ FAU.

• Liaise with MOPH & QCHP for site related requirement.

• Liaise with landlord or facility maintenance representative to ensure a site clinic/ FAU is meeting the QCHP regulation.

• To build and maintain effective and supportive working relationships with residents by participating in site committee to discuss concerns.

• Create and maintain an injury register as per Project and QCHP regulation.

• Maintain a site clinic/ FAU stock & consumable per QCHP requirement.

• Responsible for achieving and maintaining QCHP License for Site Clinic/ FAU.

• Record and manage the site clinics stores and inventories in a proper way with respect to stocks, safety and storage conditions.

• Ensure periodic proactive communication (Including TBT) to occupants for their health and related precautions.

• Conduct daily inspections of all common areas, washing and cooking facilities and allocated room to ensure high levels of hygiene, sanitisation and cleanliness.

• Coordinate with project HSE departments to assist in implementing company health & safety policies and procedures. 

• To ensure control measures related to Pandemic including Covid 19 are effectively implemented at Site. This includes but not limited to tracking of occupants record (related symptoms, contact tracing etc.), monitoring and maintaining quarantine & isolation room and reporting to Project and QHSE & Welfare Management.

• To provide comprehensive support of health related service as detailed within the Project contract.

• To take an active role in helping to ensure that all staffs health related concerns at site is supported within SLPGM.

• To provide regular updates to the line manager.

• To undertake personal training and development as required meeting the change in service needs of the department and fully utilising the onsite technical information.

• To actively promote and support good working practices within own area.

• Ensure effective communication levels are maintained with project points of contacts.

• To carry company issued mobile phone to facilitate immediate response to any emergency.

• Any other such tasks and duties relevant to the post as may be determined in agreement with the management.
