Mobile QA TesterQatar Mobility Innovations Center (QMIC), is looking for a Mobile QA tester to help track down issues in our mobile & web applications. You will be responsible for creating test plans, executing manual test cases, and helping to reproduce issues for the development team. You should have knowledge of software design and engineering, a good eye for detail, and a natural gift for software troubleshooting. A skilled Software QA Tester should be able to identify even the smallest flaw in software solutions and suggest simple yet effective fixes. This would be the perfect position for a recent graduate or someone with 1 year of software testing experience. Key Responsibilities: ? Responsible for functional, regression and acceptance testing of mobile applications/web, giving feedback to the development team. ? Testing layout and interface usability, giving feedback to the development. ? Conduct testing to ensure products perform according to user requirements and within established guidelines. ? Create, maintain, and execute manual test cases for mobile and web applications. ? Track, document, and report identified defects to the development and product team. ? Test product features and enhancements on various physical devices. ? Participate in sprint planning sessions, daily scrums, sprint reviews, retrospectives, etc. ? Participate in field driving testing for different mobile applications. ? Look for user experience improvements. Requirements: ? Bachelor?s degree in computer science or related field of study. ? The candidate must possess a valid driving license. ? Ability to design detailed functional and regression test plans, and the creation and execution of test scripts. ? Hands-on experience conducting mobile application testing using devices and simulators as appropriate for both iOS and Android operating systems. ? Some familiarity with JIRA tool to document bugs. ? Ability to do field drive test for different mobile applications. ? iOS / Android mobile platform familiarity.
