Job Description

Mechanical Engineering AdvisorJob SpecificationProvide Mechanical engineering support to onshore and offshoreprojects (Topsides, Jackets, Decks, Bridges, Brownfield Modifications) duringdetailed design; support ongoing tender evaluations of EPC contracts, prepareITTs for future EPCs including any FEED updates. Ensure technical documentscomply with project requirements.Key Job Accountabilities:

  • Support tendering process for EPC ITTs and develop EPC ITTpackages for Mechanical (Piping, Layouts & Static Equipment) discipline forfuture EPC projects in accordance with the approved project execution scheduleand budget.
  • Support various EPC PMTs by reviewing documents and/orattending workshops/meetings when requested to ensure quality timing ofMechanical deliverables is in accordance with the approved project executionschedule and budget.
  • Analyse technical attachments and scope description ofMechanical equipment and piping related purchase orders to ensure compliancewith scope description in related contracts.
  • Supply previous lessons learned knowledge to enhance projectperformance and ensure that current project lessons learned are captured forfuture reference.
  • Assess the Mechanical related activities in respect toengineering execution by ensuring plans, procedures, objectives, and overalljob requirements adhere to specifications, standards, and design verificationprocesses.
  • Cooperate with review teams and support post-auditactivities related to Mechanical design.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in engineering discipline.
  • 15 years? overall experience, 10 years? relevant experiencewith 5 years in a Lead Mechanical engineering level with overall responsibilityfor engineering execution of large offshore projects. Broad and extensiveknowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, appropriate safetycriteria, piping, layout and static equipment design, construction, operations,and engineering administration.
