Job Description

Job Objective: The Materials Specialist is responsible for the efficient handling, storage, quality control, and distribution of materials within the warehouse. This includes maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and inspecting incoming materials.Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials.
  • Order Fulfillment: Coordinate the picking, packing, and shipping of orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Quality Control: Inspect materials for compliance with specifications and report discrepancies.
  • Organization & Documentation: Optimize storage, prepare inventory documentation, and ensure safety compliance.
  • Communication: Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve material flow issues.
  • Training & Compliance: Train staff on material handling and ensure regulatory compliance.
