Job Description

SummaryThe Materials and Logistics Leader - OWS Doha is responsible for the management and execution of all materials and logistics requirements in support of shop and field operations to meet customer and business requirements. This includes short-term material provisioning and movements to ensure requirements for products in WIP and known inductions are satisfied, and long-term strategic planning and inventory management.Essential Responsibilities:

  • Establish processes & drives accountability, planning, execution & LEAN continuous improvement to the flow of parts, tools, and engines through the facility.
  • ???Drives focus & continuous improvement in meeting delivery and cost commitments, management of vendor and supplier performance, identification andescalation of risks to delivery and cost, optimizing of picking rules and ordering practices.?
  • ?Ensures site compliance in areas of tax, import, export, Customs, and dangerous goods requirements. Establishes record retention processes, understands andsupports audits by local authorities, and coaches and trains team members in understanding compliance requirements.?
  • ?Develops & executes site level inventory management including physical audit, physical separation, and forecasting. Regularly reviews inventory levels and drivesstrategic actions (includes & not limited to annual physical inventory & monthly cycle counts). Coaches team on significance of Inventory to the site and theobjectives of inventory management.?
  • ?Develops and implements processes to manage, store, and physical movement ofrotablesand Customer Owned Property (COP). Understands Customer andBusiness expectations and limitations and develops strategy and plan for use ofrotablesand COP to optimize business outcomes.?
  • ?Provides People Leadership to Materials organization on site including oversight of salaried, hourly, contractor, or purchased service personnel working in theMaterials functional area, identifying functional gaps and hiring to fill.?
  • ?Maintains and enhances policy & procedure and related documentation across OWS to describe standard work, best practices, and lessons learned read acrossopportunities.

  • Advanced experience in Materials Planning and Execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
