Job descriptionCharterhouse are currently working with a leading Qatari group client whom are presently looking to recruit a Managing Director for its Industrial Supplies and Projects divisions. This role shall oversee the groups portfolio across its electrical, industrial supplies, security services and telecoms businesses.About the roleThe Managing Director will have full responsibility of the Industrial Supplies and Projects P&L and working capital, implementing strategic and operational excellence for maximization of growth and the overall profitability of the division.This senior management role will assess the group?s current operational capability and identify strengths and gaps such as service productivity, product optimization and reducing non-profitable areas, in order to leverage substantial expansion.In conjunction, the Managing Director will safeguard group assets, overseeing the company?s financial performance, including pricing strategies, revenue streams and margin contributions, to attain the goals of both the board and shareholders.The role will ensure that business operations are conducted according to the division and company procedures, policies and general values. Furthermore, you will liaise with other functional department managers to understand all required aspects and needs of operational development, keeping regular lines of communication, setting and reviewing KPI?s.About youThe client will look to recruit a senior management professional with proven experience in leading and growing international or regional organisations with a variety of technical divisions, developing strategic and business plans.The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills and know how to motivate and effectively communicate to department managers in order for them to perform and exceed financial and operational expectations. Experience within the region and an in-depth knowledge of GCC markets is essential for this role.
