Job Description

The Legal Counsel is responsible for providing legal advice, direction, and services to the Company; internal departments and management, concerning the legal obligations and operations of the Company and, the minimization of commercial risk and contractual exposure. Undertake the legal functions entrusted to by the Head. Assist the Head in following up on legal matters?You will be responsible for below:

  • Provide legal advises on commercial law.
  • Prepare the appropriate legal documents for trial or court proceedings.
  • Evaluate new business partnerships with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Represent the company in legal proceedings.
  • Protect the company against legal risks and violations.
  • Examine the legal issues related to new products and services.
  • Guide management on regulatory and compliance issues to ensure compliance with legal regulations.
  • Litigation follow up and management.
  • Giving accurate and timely counsel to executives in a variety of legal topics (labor law, partnerships, international ventures, corporate finance etc.)
  • Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues
  • Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority etc.), creating relations of trust
  • Draft and solidify agreements, contracts, and other legal documents to ensure the company?s full legal rights
  • Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization
  • Ensures that the legal documents and other contractual documents are effectively drafted, reviewed, interpreted, and vetted.
