Legal AdvisorMain Duties and Responsibilities: * Conduct extensive research, finding case laws and assist the external counsel during arguments and advise firm as needed.* Provide effective day-to-day advice on corporate & commercial laws as well as legal matters including liaison / instruction with external counsels.* Adept in evaluating the findings, developing plans and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases and examining legal data to determine advisability of depending or persecuting lawsuit.* Prepare legal notices, complaints and replies in connection with the legal affairs / cases of the company.* Draft and vetting of legal and commercial documents inclusive of Confidentiality, Non-Compete, Joint Venture Agreements, Agency Agreements, Power of Attorney, Shareholders Agreements, Rental Agreements, Service Agreements, Labor Contracts, etc.* Vette of writ petitions, case papers, appeals for submission and pleading for various legal proceedings.* Make sure that the documents of all deals & transactions (agreements, contracts, legal correspondences, etc.) to which the company is a party to ensure that company?s interest are well protected.* Render initial legal advice to all departments on all legal matters & all documents having legal implications as and when requested.* Translate Agreement?s Terms into correspondent Arabic version when and if needed.* Check and draft contracts, agreements & internal policies and insure that they are in compliance with all statutory or legal procedures.Skills* Bachelor Degree in Law.* Minimum 7 years work experience in contracts, litigation, and corporate law.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English andArabic.* Should be proficient in Qatar Laws and Judicial System.* Knowledge in preparing company legal documents and agreements.
