Job Description

Lead of Data Integration and 3D ModelJob Specification:Responsible for smart plant administration of large offshore EPC project and supervise the EPC CONTRACTOR appointed specialist smart plant vendors and responsible for successful execution of smart plant applications for complete life cycle from initial set up until the Approved for Construction (AFC) dossiers and reports to North Field Production Sustainability (NFPS) Offshore Engineering ManagerKey Job Accountabilities:

  • Work closely with EPC contractors to establish and set up 2D and 3D models that are in aligned with QG expectations of integration to allow full leveraging of the technologies
  • Ensure that data from different databases such as SPF/Aveva, SPI&D, SPI, SPEL and SP3DS is fully leveraged and of appropriate quality; Also, cross check that queries are generated to track progress, data quality and avoid conflict.
  • Ensure the development of the Project?s 3D Models and incorporation of 3D Laser Scanning as required, ensuring compliance with and adherence to Project Specifications and related processes and procedures.
  • Manage and own the different EPC contractor?s 3D models throughout the project and ensure clashes are identified and are communicated to the relevant Project Teams.
  • Support Project Teams in automated 3Model Status using, 4D construction reporting and 3D Photogrammetry.
  • Utilize 3D model reporting to assist monitoring design quality and progress.
  • Champion and train project team members to leverage the digital information provided in the databases.
  • Ensure alignment with QG on Tag Management Systems and attributes as per Company requirements.
  • Ensure the project specified deliverables such as drawings are produced from the model and that the content complies with the project specifications, Master document register and within agreed schedules.
  • Timely engage the project leadership and share lessons learned with various EPC PMTs.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Technology Diploma or higher
  • 8 years? experience in 3D Piping Modeling in PDS/SP3D or PDMS/e3DS/VPD, Isometric generation, Clash reporting;multiple platforms is a plus
  • 3 years? of experience with Smart Plant Foundation or Aveva Net systems administration; working experience in PDS/SP3D or PDMS/VPD including Catalogs and Specifications development
  • Experience in use of Laser Scanning technology to develop facility models and perform dimensional verification in fabrication yards
  • Experience working with Oil and Gas operations personnel and basic knowledge of production facilities
