Job Description

Landscaping Foreman (Softscape & Irrigation)Position Summary:We seek a dedicated and experienced Landscaping Foreman specializing in softscape and irrigation to oversee the execution and maintenance of landscaping projects. The ideal candidate will lead a team to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining effective communication with clients and project stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Supervision and Execution:
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute softscape and irrigation installation and maintenance activities.
  • Oversee the planting of trees, shrubs, flowers, and grass while ensuring proper soil preparation and plant placement.
  • Manage the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems, including sprinklers, drip systems, and controllers.
  1. Team Management:
  • Lead and supervise a team of landscapers, providing clear instructions and assigning tasks.
  • Train team members on best practices in softscape planting, irrigation techniques, and equipment handling.
  • Monitor work progress to ensure timelines, quality, and safety standards are met.
  1. Equipment and Material Management:
  • Ensure the proper use and maintenance of tools, machinery, and irrigation equipment.
  • Monitor inventory of plants, soil, fertilizers, and irrigation supplies, and coordinate restocking as needed.
  1. Quality Assurance and Reporting:
  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets client specifications and company quality standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of daily activities, including site progress, materials used, and any challenges encountered.
  1. Client and Stakeholder Communication:
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and project managers to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
  • Address client concerns or feedback promptly and professionally.
